MDPHnet Seeking Pilot Projects

The OHDSI Lab Team is pursuing a partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) with the goal of providing Northeastern researchers access to MDPHnet.

MDPHnet is a public health surveillance network that allows researchers to obtain population health information from several Massachusetts ambulatory centers’ electronic health record systems without requiring those centers to disclose PHI. MDPHnet provides authorized users the ability to assess health indicators across multiple providers and delivery systems, with the goal of assessing health status, identifying disparities and priority areas for intervention, and informing public health policies, all in real‐time. All available data fields can be found using the attached MHDO Data Dictionary and more information about MDPHnet can be found on their website.

We are seeking pilot research projects to initiate this collaboration. If accessing MDPHnet could benefit your research (or you know of another potentially interested Northeastern researcher), please reach out to [email protected] to set up a time to discuss initial steps.
