Real-world evidence generation to advance global health

Northeastern’s OHDSI Lab

The Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics Lab, or OHDSI —pronounced “odyssey”— equips learners and researchers with the training, credentials, and resources they need to extract value from observational health data. Through collaborations with academia, industry, and government worldwide, we generate study results that serve as accurate, reliable guides for healthcare decision making.

OHDSI Initiative

Founded in 2014, the OHDSI initiative grew out of the successful Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP). OHDSI is a multi-stakeholder, interdisciplinary, open-science collaborative to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics.
